Watford agree Danny Graham deal

11 April 2012

Watford have given Premier League newcomers Swansea City permission to talk to Danny Graham after accepting a £3.5million bid for the striker over the weekend.

Graham, who top scored in the Championship last season with 24 goals, has also attracted interest from Queens Park Rangers and West Brom but is expected to sign for the Welsh club after the clubs agreed a fee.

The 25-year-old has just one year remaining on his contract at Vicarage Road and had previously stated he would only leave Watford for a Premier League club.

Graham admitted at the end of the season: "I'm not going to lie or kid anyone, I want to play at the top level, I want to be a Premier League player. I'm not going to hide the fact."

The move would see Graham reunited with former Watford boss Brendan Rodgers, who is now in charge at Swansea.
