Slavisa Jokanovic’s job at Fulham is safe for now, with owner Shahid Khan keen to give the Serb more time to resolve the problems at Craven Cottage.

Fulham suffered a 3-0 defeat by Bournemouth at Craven Cottage on Saturday in front of the watching Khan on another miserable afternoon.

Fulham are in the relegation zone, following four straight Premier League defeats, but Jokanovic will be given the chance to engineer a recovery. They travel to Manchester City in the League Cup on Thursday before a crucial away match against Huddersfield next Monday. They then face Liverpool at Anfield.

Jokanovic was given a public vote of confidence from Khan last week and the pair spoke after the Bournemouth game, with the 50-year-old remaining positive he can turn things around.
