Harry Kane is the most well-rounded striker in the Premier League, according to West Brom defender Jonas Olsson.

The two players will be up against each other at White Hart Lane on Monday as second-placed Tottenham continue to chase leaders Leicester, who are eight points clear having played a game more.

And Olsson is wary of Kane ahead of the crunch clash: “With Kane you have to watch it all. He has the most rounded game. That’s why it makes him so good.”

Kane has been in exceptional form this season netting 24 goals in the league, scoring seven in his last five games.

The England striker has become the first Englishman since Alan Shearer to score 20 league goals in successive seasons, despite a slow start to the current campaign.

Indeed, Kane scored once in his first nine Premier League games this term, leading to suggestions he may be little more than a one-season wonder, but answered his critics with a flurry of goals either side of Christmas.

Olsson added: “This is a league with really good forwards and Kane is up there with the best of them.”
