Tottenham are looking at Fiorentina’s Federico Bernardeschi.
The Italy interational caught Mauricio Pochettino’s eye when he scored with a 30-yard drive against Spurs in the Europa League last season.
Spurs want to bring in a wide attacker and Bernardeschi is one of the names on their list.
However, his impressive displays mean the 22‑year-old has also attracted interest from Bayern Munich, Barcelona and Paris St-Germain.
It is very unlikely Fiorentina would sell this month although an offer of around £40million in the summer could tempt them into a deal.
Fiorentina are in talks with his agent Beppe Bozzo over a new contract that would include a £70m buy‑out clause. Although Bernardeschi’s representatives are open to a fresh deal, which would run until 2022, they would prefer there to be no clause.
