Tiemoue Bakayoko has arrived at Chelsea's Cobham training facility to finalise his move from Monaco.

The 22-year-old is set to complete a £40million move after travelling to London to undergo his medical on Friday.

Bakayoko uploaded an image of Chelsea's training pitches on Friday afternoon and is expected to become the club's second major signing this summer following Antonio Rudiger's arrival earlier this month.

He added the teasing caption "soon".

It comes after Bakayoko sent Chelsea fans into a panic with a Twitter post on Friday morning. The midfielder made clear he had arrived in the UK in a greeting to his followers, but the location stamp suggested he was in Manchester.

Manchester United had registered an interest in Bakayoko earlier in the window, but Chelsea fans can rest assured the star is at Cobham.

The transfer will likely accelerate Nemanja Matic's departure, with both Inter Milan and Juventus interested in a deal for the 28-year-old.

Chelsea's interest in Juve defender Alex Sandro could give the Champions League runners-up the upper hand in negotiations.
