According to the Daily Mail, Amrit Bansal-McNulty, who came through the club’s youth academy before leaving in 2022, has accused Chris Ramsey of taking no action after he phoned the former QPR boss to complain about his treatment at the League Two club.
Ramsey left his post as the club’s technical director this week in an unrelated move and denies any wrongdoing.
QPR declined to comment on an ongoing case, but it is understood the club, which has a strong reputation for its anti-discrimination stance, plans to make a robust defence.
The case will be heard at an employment tribunal next year and is part of a wider claim for damages over Bansal-McNulty’s experience at Crawley, where he alleges he was racially abused by then manager John Yems.
In April last year, Yems was handed a three-year FA ban after being found guilty over charges of using discriminatory language, the longest punishment ever dished out for a discrimination offence in English football.
