Paris Saint-Germain striker Edinson Cavani is reluctant to return to the French capital in the wake of Friday's terrorist attacks, according to Uruguay teammate Alvaro Gonzalez.
The 28-year-old striker, who joined the Ligue 1 club in 2013, is currently on international duty in his homeland ahead of Tuesday's World Cup qualifier against Chile.
But Gonzalez has explained that Cavani 'would rather not' return to France afterwards.
"This is horrible, for football and for the city," he told L'Equipe.
"They spoke of the fact that David Luiz would not return in Paris and Edinson said he would rather not have to go either."
Luiz has subsequently denied reports that he was unwilling to return to Paris and is due to commence training with Laurent Blanc's side.

French champions PSG are set to take on Lorient at Stade du Moustoir on Saturday November 21.
Their next fixture in Paris is scheduled to take place one week later.
