Marcos Alonso is hungry for silverware at Chelsea after completing a 'dream' deadline day transfer from Fiorentina.
Standard Sport understands the Blues agreed a fee in the region of £23million for the left-back, who becomes Chelsea's fourth signing of the summer transfer window.
He follows Michy Batshuayi, N'Golo Kante and goalkeeper Eduardo through the doors at Stamford Bridge.
The 25-year-old, who had a previous spell at Bolton, underwent his medical with the club on Wednesday morning and his arrival is expected to spark a flurry of late deals at Stamford Bridge on the final day of the summer window.
Alonso told Chelsea's official website: "I’m very happy. It’s a step up in my career and I think this is the perfect place for me to continue developing. It’s time for me to win some titles.
"It was an easy decision for me to make when I heard the club were interested in signing me.

Alonso's arrival comes after the Blues also agreed a £34million fee with PSG to resign former player David Luiz.
The Brazilian is travelling to London to undergo a medical with the Blues and discuss personal terms as Antonio Conte reshapes his defence for the new campaign.
