Nigel Clough has the chance to add a second promotion to his CV later today when Mansfield take on Port Vale in the League Two play-off final at Wembley.

The Stags overcame Northampton with relative ease in the semi-finals but face a Vale side to have taken four points off of them during the regular campaign.

Clough’s team, however, looked a level above the Cobblers last time out and the fact they dismantled a team to have finished third surely stands them in good stead for the game at Wembley.

Vale, meanwhile, progressed through after penalty shootout drama against Swindon and will be making their first appearance at Wembley since 1993.

Where to watch Mansfield vs Port Vale

TV channel: In the UK, today’s final will be broadcast live on Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Football, with coverage beginning on the latter at 3:30pm BST ahead of a 4pm kick-off.

Live stream: Sky Sports subscribers will also be able to watch the game online via the Sky Go app.
