Manchester United reveal record profits

Manchester United today posted record operating profits of £110.9million.

The club have also revealed a record revenue of £334.1m, according to figures for the year ended June 30, 2011.

Net debt is down to £308.3m from £376.9m and the results come as the club consider a plan to raise up to £614m by floating on the Singapore Stock Exchange.

Last year's figures showed a massive £83.3m loss, largely due to the costs of a bond issue.
