There are just three days left of the January transfer window and Premier League clubs are running out of time to get their business over the line.

Plenty of deals remain in the pipeline but players, managers and agents face a battle against the clock if any more moves are to be completed before the deadline.

Mid-season purchases can often reek of desperation as clubs attempt to bring in reinforcements to stave off the threat of relegation or claw their way back into trophy contention.

But the winter window is also an opportunity to snap up future talents who may not necessarily be ready for first-team action now, but could become stars if given time.

Chelsea's youth ranks boast a huge amount of promising young players but new reports suggest the Blues are at risk of losing a highly-rated teenager to one of their rivals.

Domingos Quina has been at Stamford Bridge for three years and the 16-year-old's potential has not escaped the attention of Manchester United.

The midfielder has been 'tipped to reach the top' and Chelsea bosses are concerned his head could be turned by the lure of Old Trafford.
