Nathan Ake is in Manchester City’s squad for tonight’s Premier League clash with Tottenham.
The defender lasted only 22 minutes during Saturday’s big 4-0 victory over Fulham, temporarily taking Pep Guardiola’s side back to the top of the table.
Arsenal, however, then beat Manchester United on Sunday to place huge pressure back on the champions ahead of their visit to north London.
City have lost every league game, without scoring, at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium since its opening in 2019, but are on a relentless run of form this season having won their last six games. City won 1-0 at Spurs in FA Cup earlier this season.
Jack Grealish missed the trip to Fulham through illness but Guardiola has confirmed the England international is “fine”, and the winger has returned.
“Jack has recovered from illness and Nathan was much better yesterday,” Guardiola told reporters on Monday. “Now we are going to train and we will see if he can train later today.”
