Manchester City suffered two new injury concerns during their crucial win at Tottenham on Tuesday night.

The defending Premier League champions are now only one more victory away from retaining their title, and face West Ham at the Etihad Stadium on the final day.

The Brazilian goalkeeper will play no part against the Hammers and won’t be fit for the FA Cup final against Manchester United at Wembley on May 25 either, meaning deputy Stefan Ortega will once again be expected to step up and help deliver dominant City the double.

Here is the latest Man City injury news and return dates...

Kevin De Bruyne

De Bruyne teed up the first Erling Haaland goal for City against Spurs before he was brought down by Pape Matar Sarr in the second half.

While the Belgian initially continued, he was eventually replaced by compatriot Jeremy Doku.

"Kevin had a kick to the ankle and couldn't run properly,” confirmed City boss Pep Guardiola.

De Bruyne did, however, ease injury concerns himself after the game.

"I think I'm alright," he said. "The place in the Achilles is really sore. It felt a little bit like a knife in the moment I had the impact but it's an impact so it's not bad, I'll be alright."

Potential return date: Sunday May 19, vs West Ham

Ederson

The goalkeeper was withdrawn in the second half against Tottenham after colliding painfully with Cristian Romero at the back post and receiving lengthy treatment on the pitch.

Ederson briefly continued but was then replaced by Ortega, who played a huge role in getting City over the line by saving from both Heung-min Son and Dejan Kulusevski in one-on-one situations.

“Ederson did not have concussion, he had a problem with his eye,” said Guardiola.

“He could not see properly so the doctor said I should change. He [Stefan Ortega] is a world-class keeper. He's an exceptional, exceptional keeper.”

City later confirmed on Thursday that subsequent scans on Ederson had revealed a small fracture to his right eye socket that will see him play no further part this season and leave him in a race against time to be involved at this summer’s Copa America tournament in the United States.

Potential return date: Summer 2024
