Jurgen Klopp has no concerns over Mohamed Salah's wasteful performance against Everton, insisting it is not his first experience of a player going through a fallow period in front of goal.
Liverpool surrendered top spot in the Premier League as they were held to a frustrating goalless draw at Goodison Park on Sunday, with Salah missing their two most presentable chances.
The Egyptian was foiled by goalkeeper Jordan Pickford when put through one-on-one in the first half, and allowed Michael Keane to get back in for a sliding challenge in a similar position in the second period.
He could set a new, unwanted record should he fail to score against Burnley this weekend, having never gone five consecutive games without a goal since his move to Anfield in the summer of 2017.
However, Klopp does not believe his No11 is suffering from a crisis of confidence or anything of the sort, and expects him to be back among the goals if the Reds continue to create chances.
He said: "We have very often talks and everything. Of course, when you are a striker or offensive player and you have chances in the game, you want to score with them in the game - that's clear.
"But as a manager, I'm more than used to that players don't score all the time. That's how it is.
"He has an unbelievable record. His goals brought us where we are - not only, but it was a big part of it.
"We didn't really speak about it or whatever because it's completely normal. We have to create chances.
"In a very difficult game against Everton, we had four or five proper chances.

"We had less than that in games when we won against Everton, to be honest.
"This game, always one Everton leg was in between us and the goal or Pickford. That's the situation, but nothing else."
