Tottenham and Manchester City players, staff and fans paid their respects at Wembley to the five who lost their lives in the Leicester helicopter crash and to mark Remembrance Sunday with a minute's silence.

Leicester City owner Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha, two passengers and both pilots were killed when the helicopter spiralled out of control and crashed in the King Power Stadium car park.

The other people killed in the crash are Mr Vichai's staff - Nursara Suknamai and Kaveporn Punpare - pilot Eric Swaffer and his partner Izabela Roza Lechowicz, say Leicestershire Police.

Thousands have laid flowers outside the King Power Stadium in the hours since as the Srivaddhanaprabha family and club staff and players observed their own minute's silence and laid a wreath on the pitch centre circle.

Tottenham also marked Armistice Day, with Monday's visit of Premier League champions City their final home game before November 11.

An applause during the 10th-minute of the match has also been proposed to pay tribute to former Spurs player Glenn Hoddle, who is recovering in hospital after suffering a heart attack on Saturday.
