Jose Mourinho has insisted that Colombia international Juan Cuadrado will not be sold this summer.
Mourinho may soon have to make room in his 25-man squad for Radamel Falcao but the Portuguese insists that Juan Cuadrado will not be sacrificed despite a disappointing first five months at the club.
The 27-year-old made just four Premier League starts following his £26.3 million move from Fiorentina in January and Standard Sport reported last week that the winger was due to hold talks with Chelsea over his future with Inter Milan and Roma monitoring the situation.
However, the Blues have indicated they want to give Cuadrado more time to adapt to English football with Mourinho confirming to DirectTV Sports: “Cuadrado is not going anywhere this summer.”
However, the Chelsea boss may have more of a fight on his hands to keep Filipe Luis with Atletico Madrid declaring their interest in re-signing the defender.
