Jonathan Woodgate could miss rest of season

11 April 2012

Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp has revealed Jonathan Woodgate could be sidelined for the rest of the season.

The former Real Madrid defender has managed just three appearances this term due to a troublesome groin injury.

"I don't know whether we'll get him back before the end of the season," admitted Redknapp.

The Spurs boss also confirmed the club are still in talks over a deal to sign former defender Younes Kaboul and goalkeeper Asmir Begovic from Portsmouth.

Begovic is not the only keeper who could join Spurs this month, with Spartak Moscow's Stipe Pletikosa another possible addition before the end of this transfer window.
