Swansea will try to use Gylfi Sigurdsson's "inside knowledge" of Tottenham to gain an advantage at White Hart Lane this afternoon, according to Bob Bradley.

Sigurdsson spent two years at Spurs, scoring eight goals in 58 Premier League appearances for the north Londoners.

But he slipped down the pecking order before joining Swansea on a permanent basis in the summer of 2014, with Ben Davies moving in the opposite direction.

Sigurdsson is a key figure in Bradley's midfield and the American coach is keen to pick the midfielder's brains about what Swansea can expect from today's opponents.

"There's a little of that goes on," Bradley admitted.

"Gylfi has a good presence in the team, he's not the most vocal guy, but he's well respected.

"He's a very good professional and, as we put together our analysis, we always rely on players who have inside knowledge," he added.

Mauricio Pochettino's time alongside Sigurdsson in N17 was fleeting as the Iceland international's departure coincided with the manager's arrival.

But Pochettino says it was a "shame" Sigurdsson was sold, suggesting he would have been a "perfect" fit for his side.
