Luis Garcia may have endeared himself to Liverpool fans with his flicks, tricks and goals including a controversial Champions League semi-final winner against Chelsea, but the Spaniard appears to have undone much of his good work on twitter this week.
The 36 year-old, who spent three years at Anfield between 2004 and 2007, triggered a social media storm this week when he revealed a major plot development in the final episode of the latest series of Game of Thrones.
The breach of TV show etiquette invoked the wrath of Liverpool supporters and fans of the popular swords-and-sandals drama, who tweeted Garcia to express their disgust.
The former Barcelona and Atletico Madrid playmaker soon realised his gaffe and tweeted an apology, restoring peace to the seven kingdoms of twitter.
