Former Chelsea defender David Luiz has revealed he is reluctant to return to Paris after the international break.

The 28-year-old is contracted to PSG until 2019 but admits he 'would not go back' if it were his choice following Friday night's terror attacks in the French capital.

Nearly 130 people were killed in Paris on Friday evening as a series of co-ordinated attacks across the city targeted various sites, including the Stade de France, where the French national side were playing Germany.

Luiz's Brazil side faced Argentina in Buenos Aires on Friday night and will host Peru on Wednesday, before the central defender is due back in Paris to resume club duties.

Laurent Blanc's side travel to Lorient on November 21, before a trip to Malmo in the Champions League the following Wednesday. Their next game in Paris is on November 28 when PSG are set to welcome Troyes, but Luiz is still unsure whether he will return to France.

"I have my girlfriend and some family and friends in Paris," Luiz said. "They were all very sad and scared. I don't know what I'm going to do and whether I will head back [to Paris].

"Playing for PSG is my job but if it were up to me than I would not go back."
