EA servers are down blocking FIFA 19 gamers from playing the title's Ultimate Team mode and more.

The issues first surfaced at around 1pm UK time and are yet to be resolved, meaning fans are unable to access any of the game's online features.

The problem is affecting "numerous" EA titles, including American Football video game Madden 19.

EA is aware of the situation, though the video game giant is yet to resolve the server problems. The help desk tweeted: "We're aware of connectivity issues affecting players at the moment and are working to resolve them. Thank you."

Twitte user @jannisk01 posted: "The FIFA 19 servers on PC are down since about 45 minutes, what is going on there and why does it take so long to fix it?"

@ItsSquirrell said: "The fifa 19 companion app is down now too."

EA's global community manager Corey Andress said: "We’re on it and I’ll update when I hear more."
