Dimtri Payet scored another stunning goal for France at Euro 2016 on Wednesday night to help the hosts to become the first team to qualify for the round of 16.

France looked to be heading for a frustrating draw against Albania at Stade Velodrome after Didier Deschamps had taken the bold decision to drop young stars Antoine Griezmann and Paul Pogba.

Les Bleus laboured as Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud struggled in front of goal, but Griezmann proved his worth off the bench to score a vital opener for Deschamps' side on 90 minutes.

With Albania searching for a late equaliser, France broke deep into stoppage time and Payet curled home a superb second for a 2-0 win, while also going joint-top in the goalscorer standings for the tournament so far.

While French fans at Stade Velodrome celebrated another late escape following their narrow tournament opener against Romania, West Ham boss Slaven Bilic was delighted with his star player's finish against the Albanians.

Working as a pundit for ITV Sport, footage from inside the studio shows Bilic climbing up onto the table alongside former France international Christian Karembeu and ex Arsenal striker Ian Wright to cheer on the 29-year-old attacker.
