Danny Gabbidon: West Ham are a mess

Exit: Gabbidon ended a six-year spell at West Ham
11 April 2012

New QPR signing Danny Gabbidon has blasted his former club West Ham.

The Wales defender, who quit Upton Park earlier this week to join Neil Warnock's Premier League newcomers, delivered a parting shot to the Hammers owners David Sullivan and David Gold, branding the club 'a mess'.

"The last couple of years have been disappointing. It's hard for me to weigh up how the owners come to their decisions", Gabbidon told the Daily Mail.

"But they are the owners at the end of the day and know what they are doing - or you hope they know what they are doing.

"Last season there were loads of different things going on and it was a mess at times. At times there were things going on that you couldn't really understand. Hopefully they can learn from their mistakes."
