Crystal Palace relegation battle: Yohan Cabaye, Emmanuel Adebayor and the key issues Alan Pardew must address

Douglas Pyper7 April 2016

A lot can change in three Premier League months, as Alan Pardew and Crystal Palace can fully attest to.

Palace were preparing themselves for a potential run at Champions League qualification before the New Year, but the Eagles are now staring at a potential relegation battle having failed to win any of their last 14 league games.

The fact that the Eagles are also in the semi-finals of the FA Cup has not escaped Pardew or the club's fans, though the prospect of silverware seems to be distracting the players from the immediate task of avoiding the drop from the top flight.

Palace's situation isn't catastrophic - the Eagles currently sit 16th in the table, seven points clear of Sunderland in the relegation zone.

However, Pardew's side could well be dragged into a dogfight unless they start picking up wins - with the last league victory coming over 100 days ago.

With a crucial six-pointer against fellow strugglers Norwich coming up at Selhurst Park on Saturday, Standard Sport looks at the key areas Pardew must address to get his Eagles soaring again.
