Chelsea step up pursuit for Marquinhos and Javier Pastore while Man City target Gundogon - Saturday's transfer gossip

Chelsea dominate this weekend's transfer gossip, as they look to rebuild for next season under new manager Antonio Conte.

This weekend Chelsea welcome Manchester City to Stamford Bridge. This fixture is normally a title decider rather than merely a battle for Champions League and Europa League qualification - and both sides are keen to add to their squad ready for next season.

With Conte due to take over in the summer, Chelsea have been linked with several European stars in an attempt to mount a serious challenge for the title.

PSG's Marquinhos has been linked away from the French champions and Chelsea have not been shy about their interest in the 21-year-old defender.

The Blues are also reportedly keen to strengthen their attacking department with PSG's Javier Pastore - as they look to add more fire power to their attacking line.

Elsewhere Manchester City are looking to bolster their midfield line by adding Dortmund's Ilkay Gundogan, as Pep Guardiola looks to make an impact on his Premier League debut season.
