Chelsea stars Diego Costa, Ramires and Kenedy enjoyed a night out in London and were pictured leaving swanky club Libertine in the early hours of Thursday morning.

The Brazilian trio were seen leaving the central London nightclub, which recently hosted Hollywood actor Tom Cruise, at about 3.15am along with boxer James DeGale.

Costa, Ramires and Kenedy, who have been in training all week, were escorted to their awaiting vehicles by two security guards but, despite their late night, the Chelsea trio are expected to be back on the training pitches of Cobham on Wednesday.

Standard Sport understands that no action will be taken by the club as Chelsea were aware of their players' plans, and no club curfews were broken.

Costa will be aiming to force his way back into coach Jose Mourinho's plans when Chelsea host Bournemouth on Saturday afternoon after being left on the bench in the goalless draw away to Tottenham.

The Brazilian-born Spain international made headlines during the match at White Hart Lane after he was seen tossing his bib seemingly in the direction of his coach when he realised he would not be brought on late on.

Despite Mourinho choosing to start Eden Hazard up front in place of Costa against Spurs, the Portuguese tactician said the striker should feel "privileged" to have been one of the last Chelsea players to find himself out of the starting line-up this term.

He said: "I think Diego is very privileged because he was the last one to be on the bench.

"Everybody was on the bench. The captain was on the bench. Ivanovic was on the bench. Cahill - the vice captain of England was on the bench.

"Fabregas was on the bench. Pedro was on the bench. Hazard - player of the season - was on the bench. Oscar was on the bench. Everybody

"So Diego is privileged I kept him in the team for all these matches."
