Chelsea may be suffering a crisis of sorts in their striking department, but Michy Batshuayi is ready and willing to put himself out there for the Blues.

The Premier League champions returned to pre-season training at Cobham on Monday, though Diego Costa was nowhere to be seen after Antonio Conte gave the striker extra time off as he closes in on a return to Atletico Madrid.

The Blues' transfer plans were thrown into flux after Romelu Lukaku agreed to join Manchester United instead of returning to Stamford Bridge, with the future of Batshuayi - who was expected to leave on loan - uncertain amid Conte's £70million pursuit of Alvaro Morata.

While countless players have kissed badges and declared that they bleed the colour of their club only to then move on to pastures new, Batshuayi showed his dedication to the cause by videoing himself undergoing medical tests.

Batshuayi released the video on Twitter with the caption: "When ppl asking me where I'm going but Chelsea's LITERALLY in my blood right now".

The Belgian forward didn't look best pleased in the presence of needles as he had blood drawn during the pre-season tests, but for now, at least, his future appears to lie at the Bridge.
