The summer’s transfer market is in full swing, with Premier League clubs vying with one another to seal the deals before the window fully opens.

This morning, much of the talk centres around Chelsea, Tottenham and Chelsea.

According to this morning’s papers, Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich has held talks with Lionel Messi’s father over the past 10 days, regarding a proposed move to Stamford Bridge. The Barcelona star was yesterday sentenced to 21-months for tax fraud, though he will not spend time in prison.

Elsewhere, Tottenham will have to pay £25million for Newcastle star Georginio Wijnaldum.

Finally, West Ham will have to fight off a £38million bid from Inter Milan for Dimitri Payet according to today’s gossip, while Manchester United could make a world-record £100m offer for Paul Pogba.
