Chelsea's Bertrand Traore has encouraged his team-mates to keep their heads up despite a discouraging draw with Stoke on Saturday.

Traore scored the opener as the Blues looked to continue an incredible run under Guus Hiddink, which has seen them go unbeaten in domestic competition since the Dutchman took charge.

"I took the decision to turn and shoot and it was on target, it was a great shot, so I’m happy with it," the 20-year-old told the club's official site after his second Premier League goal.

Mame Diouf, however, struck a late equaliser to leave the Blues 10 points off the Champions League qualification places, but Traore has warned his team-mates not to let the dropped league points impact their upcoming European test.

He added: "Of course we wanted to take the three points and they scored a late equaliser, so it feels like a defeat, but we have to keep our heads up for Wednesday’s game."

Chelsea host PSG in the second leg of their last-16 Champions League tie in midweek, trailing 2-1 from the first leg.

Edinson Cavani's winner at the Parc des Princes last month came after John Obi Mikel had cancelled out a Zlatan Ibrahimovic free-kick, but the Blues will be confident after overturning a larger deficit to progress against the same side two years ago.
