Bournemouth have been relegated from the Premier League despite beating Everton on the final day of the season.

The Cherries went into the final day with a mountain to climb after languishing in the lower reaches of the Premier League for much of the season.

They sat three points from safety and were reliant on other results going their way to keep their place at the top table.

Eddie Howe now faces a talks over his future at Bournemouth.

"My commitment to the club has never changed," he said ahead of Sunday's match.

"From day one I [have done] my best for the club. That will not change. We will sit down at the end of the season, regardless of what happens, and see what happens next."
