Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang drew comparisons to Arsenal legend Thierry Henry on Saturday morning as the striker left Crystal Palace "spell-bound", according to one former Gunner.

Aubameyang broke the deadlock at Selhurst Park in the 12th minute through a wonderfully worked goal: David Luiz fed Mesut Ozil, who laid the ball off to Alexandre Lacazette; he found Aubameyang with a fine ball through the middle, and the No.14 took one touch one touch and finished coolly.

That strike made it 14 Premier League goals for the season for Aubameyang, taking him second in the Golden Boot race.

The fact that he is wearing the shirt number of Arsenal's all-time top scorer was not lost on ex-Arsenal defender Martin Keown, who said of the goal: "Aubameyang reminded me of Henry there!"

Working as a co-commentator for BT Sport, Keown said Arsenal's movement in the build-up to the goal left the Palace defence "spell-bound"... and "pleasing on the eye from an Arsenal point of view".
