Arsenal striker Marouane Chamakh wanted by Fiorentina

Fiorentina have made an offer for Arsenal forward Marouane Chamakh.

The Morocco international is set to leave Emirates Stadium this summer following the arrivals of Lukas Podolski and Olivier Giroud.

Chamakh, who has also been linked with Bordeaux, has endured a largely disappointing two years in the Premier League and scored just once last season.

Meanwhile, boss Arsene Wenger is lining up a move for Wigan’s Victor Moses. Chelsea have already had a £4million bid for the 21-year-old rejected but Roberto Di Matteo is expected to return with an improved offer this week.
