Bukayo Saka has not suffered an injury despite being forced off in Arsenal’s FA Cup win over Oxford.

Monday’s win saw the winger, 21, suffer a blow in the first half when coming off second best in a battle with Ciaron Brown for the ball.

A quiet performance was ended late in the second half when Mikel Arteta replaced Saka with the fit-again Emile Smith Rowe after he went down once more, requiring treatment before coming off.

The Arsenal boss assured fans post-match that Saka is not injured with the north London derby against Tottenham up next on the weekend.

“He’s fine, he’s okay,” Arteta told ITV Sport.

Arteta also continued to confirm that he would like new signings in January after a number of his reserves failed to impress in the 3-0 win.

When asked about Joao Felix’s move to Chelsea, he stated: “My job is to make my players as good as I can and I’ll try to do that.

“If we have any reinforcements then great.”
