Arsenal Ladies are celebrating their fourteenth FA Women's Cup win, beating Chelsea Ladies 1-0 at Wembley.

Danielle Carter sealed the victory with a superb strike after cutting in from the left to place a shot into the top corner of the Chelsea goal.

Scroll down for Standard Sport's assesment of the players' performances.

Arsenal

13 Sari Van Veenendaal

Van Veenendaal was rarely challenged in the first half following Chelsea's slow start. She made a good 1-on-1 save with her feet. However, the Arsenal stopper often looked questionable on crosses. 6

2 Alex Scott

Scott had a decent performance overall with relatively little to do, she looked unconvincing in possession at times. 5

3 Emma Mitchell

Mitchell pressed Chelsea well high up the pitch down the left but was often caught out stepping up, giving Aluko far too much freedom feeding off of balls over the top. 5

22 Josephine Henning

Chelsea's slow start to the first half meant Henning had very little to do early on, but made no error throughout the game in helping Arsenal seal the victory. 6

5 Casey Stoney

Stoney was also tested very little in the first half but kept Chelsea out and kept possession well, importantly sweeping up a few Chelsea through balls. 6

6 Vicky Losada

Losada kept possession well, helping Arsenal keep control of possession playing out of defence but made a few sloppy passes going forward. 6

4 Fara Williams

Williams had a keen eye for Arsenal's long passes over the top for Carter and Oshoala, which was a key part of their game and was perhaps their greatest threat. 7

8 Jordan Nobbs

Nobbs combined well with Kelly Smith bringing the ball forward for Arsenal and caused real problems for Chelsea's defence. 7

9 Danielle Carter

Carter was the most threatening player on the pitch, getting in the space behind the Chelsea defence well, playing a key role in Arsenal playing through the wings with her pace and power. She topped her performance off with a good goal out of very little. 9

24 Asisat Oshala

Oshala made several threatening runs in behind Chelsea's defence in the first half, but often faliled to get on the end of passes over the top. 7

10 Kelly Smith

Smith was a key player for Arsenal going forward, making a few important passes before being substituted towards the end of the game. 8

Best off the bench

21 Danielle Van De Donk

A far from standout performance from De Donk, but offered a fresh pair of legs to Arsenal whilst they were defening their lead. 6

Chelsea

1 Hedvig Lindahl

Lindahl had a solid performance. The Chelsea stopper wasn't tested too much but bar a bizarre clearance with her foot from a Danielle Carter cross, did well and had no chance with the first goal. 6

3 Hannah Blundell

Blundell did well under pressure from Mitchell on Chelsea's right hand side but offered very little going forward and had an overall uninspiring performance. 5

4 Millie Bright

Bright played well in the middle of the park for Chelsea, making a number of key passes in to So-Yun, starting off a numbe rof Chelsea counter-attacks. 6

5 Gilly Flaherty

Flaherty covered Arsenal's passes over the top well, breaking up their attacking play in the process. 6

7 Gemma Davison

Davison was one of the Blues' better players in the second half, making a number of tenacious runs down Chelsea's right flank and being one of very few players to frighten Arsenal's defenders. 7

8 Karen Carney

Carney had a very average performance in Chelsea's poor first half, meaning her substitution in the 54th miute was no shock. 5

10 Ji So-Yun

Yun was one of Chelsea's key players, spending plenty of time in control of the ball but never really creating anything too threatening out of it. Misseda key chance from A chelsea corner in the 70th minute to draw Chelsea level 6

14 Fran Kirby

(Ben Hoskins/Getty Images)

Kirby did well in Chelsea's attack, often drawing Arsenal defenders away from their positions and winning free kicks. 7

16 Ana Borges

Borges' questionable positioning gave Arsenal far too much space behind the defence on Chelsea's left flank, which played into Arsenal's hands, particularly in the first half. 6

17 Katie Chapman

Chapman made a few key tackles including one superb challenge to break up an Arsenal attack early in the second half. 7

24 Drew Spence

Spence offered very little for Chelsea in the first half and unsurprisingly was subbed off at half-time. 5

Best off the bench

9 Eniola Aluko

Aluko's speed and desire to shoot helped Chelsea get back into the game after a slow start and gave Arsenal a new challenge to deal with but her performance faded away towards the end of the game and was unable to get Chelsea back into the game. 7
