Arsenal Ladies midfielder Jordan Nobbs has been crowned Women's Player of the Year at the London Football Awards.

The award comes just over three months after the 24-year-old was named England Player of the Year at the FA Women's gala.

Nobbs, the Lionesses vice-captain, helped Arsenal Ladies to a record 14th FA Women's Cup last season.

However, four goals in 14 Women's Super League appearances could not prevent the club missing out on Champions League qualification.

Most recently, Nobbs scored the opening goal for the national team on Wednesday only for France to secure a late win in the SheBelieves Cup.

Nobbs began her career at Sunderland Ladies, picking up honours from a young age, before moving to Meadow Park in 2010.
