Arsenal trio Santi Cazorla, Theo Walcott and Nacho Monreal are doubts for the Gunners' Premier League fixture against Sunderland this weekend.
Cazorla missed last week's 0-0 draw with Middlesbrough and is struggling to be fit for Saturday's trip to the Stadium of Light.
"We have a few uncertainties with Walcott, Monreal, Cazorla but they will have tests today," Arsene Wenger confirmed.
"[Olivier] Giroud is back available, Aaron Ramsey will be in the squad so it's good to have them back.
"I have to be a bit cautious, especially with Aaron Ramsey."
Cazorla's potential absence will come as a blow as the midfielder has started the season in fine form, scoring two goals and assisting another two in eight top-flight appearances.
When asked what Arsenal miss when Cazorla is absent, Wenger said: "The pass from deep midfield and security on the ball, getting out of pressure. And he has a good understanding with Mesut Ozil."
Walcott's absence is also an unwelcome one as the England international has been a pivotal part of Wenger's attack this term and is the Gunners' top Premier League scorer with five goals.
Arsene Wenger's side will be installed as clear favourites against the Premier League's bottom side with Mohamed Elneny and Francis Coquelin likely to start in central midfield.
