Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has refused to rule out David Luiz undergoing knee surgery and fears the defender could be out “for a few weeks at least”.

Luiz missed Saturday’s 3-0 defeat to Liverpool due to a knee issue and the Brazilian could now be set for a spell on the sidelines too.

Arteta revealed after the match the 33-year-old may require surgery to get back fit, with Arsenal currently deciding what to do.
