Antonio Rudiger: Chelsea can't be happy with our results in the last few weeks - 'We are making lots of mistakes'

Antonio Rudiger admits Chelsea have made too many mistakes in the past few weeks and can't be happy with their recent set of results.

Chelsea's goalless draw at home to Leicester City on Saturday was the champions' third straight 0-0 draw in all competitions - the first time in the club's history that they've recorded such a set of results.

Before the draw against Leicester in the league, Chelsea played out a goalless EFL Cup semi-final result against Arsenal and a 0-0 draw away to Norwich in the FA Cup. Those results came after Chelsea drew 2-2 draw against Arsenal in the Premier League.

And Rudiger, who played in all three of Chelsea's goalless draws recently, admits he would have preferred the Blues conceding a goal but winning their games to not winning their last three matches at all.

Speaking to Chelsea's official website, the 24-year-old said: "Honestly, I prefer that we win this game and concede a goal, at least we would have the three points.

"Of course we are disappointed with the performance and I think we are lucky that Leicester did not score in the first half. We cannot be happy with the last few weeks. It is difficult weeks for everyone and there are lots of mistakes that we are doing."

But he added: "It is like this sometimes. You just need that one moment.

"At the moment it is difficult, but we have to go for it."
