Antonio Conte was sent to the stands for the first time in his Chelsea managerial career after taken exception to a corner kick not being awarded against Swansea City.

With the score-line 0-0 at Stamford Bridge and with two minutes of the first half remaining, referee Neil Swarbrick handed the visitors a goal kick instead of a corner.

Conte was left incensed by the decision, and proceeded to go over to fourth official Lee Mason and vent his frustrations. Mason called over referee Swarbrick before the official sent the Chelsea manager to the stands.

The Italian initially went and took a seat behind the Chelsea dugout before being told he must go and sit in the stand above the press box, which he duly did.

The sending off is the first for Conte in England, with the Chelsea manager never having been given his marching orders since taking over at the club in the summer of 2016.
