Standard Sport assesses the individual performances from Arsenal’s late 2-1 win against Anderlecht in the Champions League.

The Gunners played poorly on the night and fell behind to an Andy Najar header after 71 minutes.

It so nearly got worse for Arsenal soon after but Anthony Vanden Borre hit the bar for Anderlecht from close range.

The hosts would go on to regret that miss as Kieran Gibbs met a Calum Chambers cross in the 89th minute to volley home a barely-deserved equaliser.

Remarkably, Arsene Wenger’s side then stole all three points in stoppage time when substitute Lukas Podolski lashed a shot into the back of the net from a few yards out.
