Alexandre Lacazette says the Arsenal players are wary some of their futures may be on the line this summer as the club looks to appoint a new manager.

Following Arsene Wenger’s announcement earlier this month that he is to leave the club come the end of the season, the board at the Emirates are preparing to hire a manager for the first time in 22 years.

Lacazette has been a different player since his return from a knee injury which hampered his early time in north London.

However, the France international knows the performances in the final games of the season could hold a bearing on his Arsenal future.

"We want to keep going and be good because we know that a new manager is coming," Lacazette told Sky Sports.

"Maybe everything will change. We don't know if everyone can stay in the club."

The Gunners face Manchester United for the final time under Wenger at Old Trafford on Sunday.

Having grown up a Gunners fan, Lacazette is relishing his first appearance at Manchester United’s ground and is keen to add his own line in the Arsenal history books there.

"Since I was young I was dreaming about this kind of game, when Thierry Henry and everybody scored some goals," he said.

"Of course I knew about the rivalry. I remember Sylvain Wiltord's goal in the gold shirt [in 2002 to win the title]. I was a real fan. But now it is for me to play and have a good performance as well.

"It will be hard because I have never been to Old Trafford but I know every time you go there it is hard.

"When you play for Arsenal these kind of games come every three days - we're having a lot of big games and little recovery but we just want to keep going and put on a good performance."
