David Yuill11 April 2012

Brentford defender Alan Bennett is determined to prove a point to manager Andy Scott during his month on loan at Wycombe.

The 28-year-old has fallen out of favour at Griffin Park and is desperate to secure regular football having starred in last season's promotion push. He said: "I am starving for games and the chance to prove people wrong. I am very happy to be where I can get some games.

"I had a few other clubs interested in taking me but as soon as Wycombe and Gary Waddock showed their interest I knew this was where I wanted to go."
