England win toss and bowl

12 April 2012

England captain Michael Vaughan won the toss and chose to bowl first against Sri Lanka in the Super Eight contest at Sir Viv Richards Stadium.

The England selectors named an unchanged side for the match in Sri Lanka in Antigua.

Ed Joyce retains his position as opening batsman and Paul Collingwood plays after passing a late fitness test on a stiff neck.

Veteran Sri Lanka opener Sanath Jayasuriya became the most capped player in one-day history as Sri Lanka maintained the team which thrashed West Indies on Sunday.

Jayasuriya, 38 in June, has experienced a real Indian summer to his career, having hit six one-day hundreds in the past 12 months.
