Ebdon gets short-term deal

14 April 2012

Marcus Ebdon today agreed a three-month deal with Leyton Orient. The former Chesterfield midfielder was initially reluctant to accept a short-term contract.

However, Ebdon now becomes Paul Brush's third signing of the summer and will be in the squad for tomorrow's friendly against Woking.

Orient's manager said: "I'm obviously pleased that Marcus was happy to accept three months.

"It was the longest we could offer him and he's impressed us during pre-season.

"He wants to show us what he can do and will have the chance to do that."
