Dowie facing problems at the back

Crystal Palace manager Iain Dowie will have to reshuffle his defence for the game at struggling Nottingham Forest.

On-loan centre-back Mark Hudson is suspended following his dimissal against Gillingham and that could mean the first start for 21-year-old Mikele Leigertwood who was signed from Wimbledon last month.

But Dowie is now able to recall striker Neil Shipperley who was banned from last week's 2-2 home draw with Reading and he is likely to come in for Dougie Freedman against a Forest team battling for their First Division lives and who are showing signs of a revival under new manager Joe Kinnear.
