Defensive duo back for Spurs

14 April 2012

Tottenham head coach Martin Jol welcomes two defenders back for Spurs' Boxing Day clash with Norwich.

Moroccan centre-back Nourredine Naybet has recovered from a groin injury which kept him out of Tottenham's 5-1 victory over Southampton, while Swedish full-back Erik Edman is available after an Achilles injury.

Jol must once again decide which two of Jermain Defoe, Fredi Kanoute and Robbie Keane will start up front as Tottenham chase a fifth straight Barclays Premiership victory.

Midfield pair Simon Davies (virus) and Sean Davis (knee) are said to be around a fortnight away from making their first-team return.

Provisional squad: Robinson, Fulop, Pamarot, King, Naybet, Gardner, Davenport, Edman, Atouba, Ziegler, Carrick, Brown, Redknapp, Pedro Mendes, Ricketts, Defoe, Keane, Kanoute, Yeates.
