Crisis for Wise

13 April 2012

Dennis Wise faces his first serious test as Millwall manager with a striker crisis ahead of tomorrow's trip to Reading.

Neil Harris, Mark McCammon and Noel Whelan are all injured, while Belgian international Bob Peeters is suspended.

With Kevin Braniff the only recognised forward at the club, Wise will be forced to use a makeshift striker.

He said: "We've been trying to get some people in on loan this week but it hasn't quite worked. Hopefully we'll get a couple in next week."
