Coleman's ready to turn Green

Fulham are thought to be at the head of the queue for Norwich goalkeeper Robert Green.

Manager Chris Coleman is lining up the £3million England international after agreeing a deal to allow Edwin van der Sar to join Manchester United.

The Dutchman has agreed a two-year contract at Old Trafford and will undergo a medical after returning from international duty.

Van der Sar was linked with a move to United in January but agreed a contract extension with Fulham until summer 2006 instead.

His agent, Rob Jansen said: "The deal is done in principle. It will be finalised in a week. Edwin is very happy, it is an honour for him to play for a club like United."

The 34-year-old Holland international - who has played 95 times for his country - is expected to sign a two-year deal, subject to a medical. He joined Fulham from Juventus for £5m in 2001.

United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has been looking for a goalkeeper after releasing Roy Carroll.
