Clifton College should give St Peter's, Gloucester their first real test inthe fourth round.

St Peter's have rattled up 96 points disposing ofWycliffe and Hartpury Colleges but Clifton showed strength and ambition intheir 58-8 defeat of Newent, who never gave up.

Clifton's flowing rugbyproduced some excellent tries with full back Robbie Ridler scoring ahat-trick and prop Josh Kernan two.

Downside are making their mark on thecompetition for the first time but a weakened team were made to fight hardby Kingham Hill before winning 32-3.

Wyn Thomas (2), Matthew Goss (2) PeterHodgkinson and Chris Clark scored the tries which set up a plum fourthround home tie with RGS High Wycombe.
