Bulls suffer record low at Rovers

Four-time Super League champions Bradford set an unwanted club record at Hull KR as their fall from grace continued with a 49-24 defeat.

The Bulls, winners of the competition in 1997, 2001, 2003 and 2005, have now lost their last 10 fixtures in all competitions, a record sequence since the club reformed as Bradford Northern in 1964.

They can have few complaints about the loss too, as Rovers came up with the perfect response to their 20-16 loss to Hull in the last round of fixtures, with Peter Fox and Clint Newton, who were branded 'cocky' by Hull coach Richard Agar after that game, scoring five tries between them - Fox getting a hat-trick.

Catalans ripped up the form book as they recorded a narrow 29-28 victory over Warrington who they will face in the Challenge Cup semi-finals in two weeks.

A sizeable Warrington following had made the trip to see the high-flying Wolves who were aiming to follow up last weekend's defeat of Wigan with a win over the side rooted to the foot of the Engage Super League table.

From the start the Dragons looked to dominate and play with a freedom and style that saw them take an early lead with Frederic Vaccari pouncing on a Thomas Bosc kick to go over in the fifth minute. Bosc converted the try to give the hosts a solid start.

Warrington levelled through a 70 metre try by Chris Hicks and Ben Westwood added the goal to level the scores. The hosts went in front again through Dane Carlaw, after Brent Sherwin found the big Australian who brushed off a defender to touch down. Bosc added the goal to again give the Catalans a six point lead.
